Applies to 2-Step Standard Downforce and 2-Step Pro Downforce.
Programme Overview
The HyperFunding 2-Step Challenge is designed for traders who prefer a traditional evaluation process. Successfully complete both evaluation phases whilst respecting every trading rule to qualify for a funded simulation account.

Challenge Progression
Pass Phase 1 by reaching an 8% realised profit without breaching any rule. You will then receive a Phase 2 account where the objective is a further 5% realised profit. After successfully completing Phase 2, your account is reviewed before a funded account is issued.
Profit Targets
Only closed profits count towards the profit target. Floating profit does not complete a phase until trades are closed.
Static Maximum Drawdown
This programme uses a STATIC Maximum Drawdown of 10%. Unlike a trailing drawdown, a static drawdown never moves regardless of how much profit you make. The drawdown limit is fixed from your starting balance throughout both evaluation phases.
Static Drawdown Example (Standard, 10%)
- Starting Balance: $100,000
- Maximum Drawdown: 10%
- Lowest Permitted Balance: $90,000
- If your account grows to $112,000 or $120,000, the Maximum Drawdown remains fixed at $90,000.
- Falling below this level at any time results in a breach. Pro accounts work the same way with a 12% limit ($88,000 floor).
Daily Drawdown
Daily Drawdown is the maximum loss permitted during a single trading day: 4%. If your account equity exceeds the daily loss limit before the daily reset, the challenge fails. The Daily Drawdown resets at the broker server's daily reset time.
Minimum Trading Days
Standard accounts require 5 trading days. Pro Downforce accounts require 4 trading days.
News Trading Rule
Manual intervention is prohibited within 3 minutes before, during and 3 minutes after any high-impact (red folder) economic news event. During this period you must not manually open, close, partially close or modify positions, stop losses, take profits or pending orders. Existing stop losses and take profits placed before the restricted period may execute automatically.
Braking System Rule
Every position must have a valid stop loss attached before it is closed, including trades lasting less than 60 seconds. Closing any trade without a stop loss constitutes a rule breach.
Prohibited Trading Practices
Copy trading, group trading, signal services, account mirroring, latency arbitrage, high-frequency trading, prohibited hedging, exploiting platform errors and any attempt to circumvent HyperFunding's risk management systems are prohibited.
Funding & Payouts
Upon successfully completing both evaluation phases and satisfying all programme requirements, your account will progress to funding. The profit split goes up to 90%, subject to KYC and payout eligibility.
